For the 2020-2021 school year, AEI will be providing full scholarships for four lucky New Brunswick students to study in Germany. Students must be entering Grade 10, 11 or 12 in the next school year, and must be between the ages of 15-18 on August 15, 2020. They must also have an 80% average or better on their most recent report card. The scholarship will include: Return airfare and in-country travel to the host community in Germany... All costs related to school attendance in Germany Homestay accommodations with a local host family Intensive German language learning camp Modest spending money allowance The program is being organized in partnership with YFU Germany, a well established and trusted organization that we have worked with for a number of years to bring German students to New Brunswick as part of our New Brunswick International Student Program. For more information on YFU, please see their website at this link: www.yfu.org As we have done with previous student travel initiatives, we look forward to working with you and request your assistance by providing the attached information to your students. It is truly a life-changing opportunity to experience a rich educational and cultural experience. Students will only be responsible for a limited number of expenses such as personal items, passport fees, spending money beyond a modest monthly allowance, etc. WE ARE ASKING YOU TO FORWARD THIS INFORMATION TO STUDENTS AND MAKE THEM AWARE OF THIS OPPORTUNITY! A poster advertising the program is attached; we request this be displayed in high traffic areas throughout your school. It would also be helpful to provide this information on your school and district websites and social media pages, as well as to include it in morning announcements. The deadline for applications is midnight, February 28, 2020. For further information about this exciting opportunity and access the online application - Click on the following link http://www.aei-inc.ca/study-in-germany or - Visit our website at www.aei-inc.ca. If you have any questions or require further information, please email John McLaughlin at [email protected] or contact me at my below coordinates.
