Canadian Host Families... please note that Immigration Canada requires that all participants of the international mobility program (which International Experience Canada - Working Holiday Visa is part of) quarantine upon arrival in Canada. As the employer of an Au Pair in Canada on a WH Visa, you are required to pay your Au Pair during her quarantine period. As per CIC, "You must pay wages that are substantially the same as offered in the offer of employment during the period of mandatory quarantine when the worker first arrives in Canada, as per the current Quarantine Act order, even if the worker is unable to perform any work."
