When your mom hands you down her God given talent, you put it to good use! Im soooo enjoying sewing and the process. So I did a thing. With the past couple years in our household have been focused on mental health with the recent discovery of a ADHD in myself and daughter (12yrs), coping skills have been top priority in our home. Parents of children that learn differently, let them know that knowing you have this condition will only make your life better. What I would give to have known I just learned differently and to ask for what you need. Knowledge is power! The more we know, the we are... our best version of ourselves Quieting my thoughts have always been a challenge for me. I've discovered thru some amazing friends that I don't know how to breath!!!! Ask me how shocked I was to find out I was breathing backwards and the connection our breath has on our brain is so critical! I also suffer from Complex PTSD which creates a battle field in my brain all day, everyday! #hotmess Im not sure where this journey will take me, however I do know I am worth the investment. I do know once I learn how to breath, ill be able to "Just be!" My family deserves the best version of me. My daughter deserves the best version of me. My guests who sit in my chair deserve the best of me! My friends deserves my best self.
