Wow we are going into our third year - crazy! Thank goodness for wonderful friends...this past Sunday along with Stacey four very special friends joined him on finishing what needed to be done to make sure we are ready for you & your families AND Henry has been moved! Shadow supervised his move & he is safely in his new spot among his cousins & family - come by & get a picture with him this Christmas season We will officially be open Saturday, November 28th at 10:00am!! Finished up with the little ones we just need a little green house for them now for the winter. Remember to fertilize your trees monthly - gives them that extra they need especially with all the rain we’ve had. I think I have found the perfect spot for Lyla’s tree, it has so much new growth & seems to really like where she is now! Also for enquiring minds I found Henry in amongst all the Buttercups smiling & doing a little growing himself!! We’ll be moving him closer to his cousins in the field in the Fall - so be sure to visit him when you come for your Christmas Tree this coming Christmas! #baartschristmastrees #happytrees #willgrow #dontforgettofertilize

The field is beautiful at this time of year - just taking a moment to appreciate the view If you have a live tree & haven’t put it in the ground yet remember to put some Bone Meal in the hole you’ve dug for it’s permanent home. Give it lots of water (when it’s not raining) And fertilize once a month from now to September. Well today I went out to grab a couple of things, Keenan said he’d get started on planting the Douglas Firs, I said I’d join him when I got back - I was only gone an hour & a bit. He started & finished them!! We now have 360 very happy Christmas Trees ready to grow & be a part of your future Christmas’ I cannot tell you how happy that made me...I think I shocked both Keenan & Stacey when I burst into tears 1 that it was done & 2 that I didn’t have to go bending down to get the other half of the trees planted I have the two best guys right here!!! If you’ve talked with me tending to the trees is a labour of love but painful for my back - I have been so thankful having Keenan’s help it’s been a great time for the two of us Well a couple of days ago my Prince Charming, Stacey, stepped in & finished filling the pots, then last night changed over the smaller pots to slightly bigger ones & planted all 180 nobles!! Keenan & I will finish potting with the Douglas Firs today!! #baartschristmastrees #babynobles #babydouglas

So Keenan & I went out until it started pouring buckets on us & managed to get soil into 100 pots! Aren’t these babies adorable?! They’re close to a year old so we thought we’d try potting them for a year to get a good size root ball on them & then plant them in the field. We’re hoping with other adjustments we make their survival rate will be better than the last bunch. #baartschristmastreefarm #babychristmastrees #cutebabynobles #cutebabydouglas

Hey Everyone - we hope you are all keeping safe & healthy during this time. That you & your families are doing what you can to ensure your safety & the safety of others. Today I had to go pick up some saplings I ordered back in November - I was thankful actually for the distraction. The nursery we deal with has been so good about ensuring their wholesale customers like us & their staff are kept safe during this transaction. I was in & out very quickly & efficiently.
