I made an oopsie! I accidentally took a reservation for tomorrow, not realizing we were closed that day. I took down the persons name & number but I must have taken it down wrong and haven't had any luck getting a hold of her. The reservation was for a Janeen Jones (I may have this name wrong, sorry). 4 people at 5pm.... Please help us get this message to her.

We are closed Sunday to allow all staff to attend turkey dinners with their families. We will be back Monday for our regular hours. Happy Thanksgiving!

Every staff member has a signature meal, and when the ticket goes back into the kitchen the kitchen staff recognize it immediately and know exactly who the meal is for. Mine? Mini burgers with raw onions (instead of grilled) and a little bit of mustard & dam sauce with "literally 10 fries" . Today we are highlighting another staff member's signature meal: This is "The Scottwich" , a riff off our Backwoods Cheesesteak. Shredded beef on a toasted hoagie with Monterey jack cheese and grilled onions. Available for a limited time, with a side of fries or coleslaw for $12. Eat in or take-out.

We will be open today for eat-in and take-out. Some specials to warm the soul: 2 for $20 dam burgers 2 for $30 J-express or Return of the Mac... Save your storm snacks for later, get storm burgers for now ;)

We are staying open for the rest of the day for eat in and take out, unless things take a serious turn weather-wise in the next few hours we will be open!

Burger Love Diary: Day 11 We had 2 pieces of equipment breakdown today, so a trip down a red dirt road and a burger were very much needed! We tried Moth Lane Brewing's burger Smoke & Beerors and it was so good! Really recommend checking it out but plan ahead! Check our their hours on Facebook before heading down as they are limited!

Another one of our Goonie's themed decor items that was created by our talented cook/server & my little sister Brooke Wagner. Anything else you noticed around the restaurant or on the menu that was Goonie themed? Re: Fruit punch pickles & onions.... "I wasn't sure about the fruit punch pickles an onions but...."... Is the #1 comment we keep hearing about. Honestly, they aren't that weird! A nice briny & sweet punch of flavor which off-sets the creaminess of the sour cream & onion dip and compliments the crispy cheese & potato crisp nicely. Every component on our burger is there for a reason both for our theme and also for complimenting/contrasting flavor. Our burgers are built for flavor balance, and also to amuse ourselves creatively. We love to experiment in the "well that's an unusual ingredient..." categories and we are happy to report that no one has found the fruit punch pickles & onions too weird or strange to enjoy. So... if you are unsure, take the leap! You only live once and do you really want to be on your death bed kicking yourself cause you were afraid to try a fruit punch flavored pickle? .... Burger Love Diary. Day 6. The staff was kind enough to give One Eyed Willy one of our coveted Never Say Die burger love burgers. He was super appreciative but still refuses to wear pants. A note about phone calls: We are trying our best to manage the phone best we can but when the restaurant is full, sometimes we have to take a break from answering the phones so we can service the customers we have in the restaurant. ... If you can't get through, we apologize but luckily we are doing burger love for an extra 2 weeks this year so lots of time to try it out! Thanks for all the support thus far!

Took a few days to get away with my sister and our kids. We stayed at Do Duck Inn Cottages , got picked up there by horse-drawn carriage and made our way to Orwell Corner Historic Village for a memorable day experiencing what life was like ‘back in the olden days’. We also spent some time at King’s Castle and the kids thought it was absolutely fantastic! All in all, a very successful mini staycation that I highly recommend! We’ve been meaning to check these attractions out a...nd this was the prefect summer to visit them. With it being such a bizarre summer I truly hope you’ve been able to sneak in some bits of fun and normalcy into the last few months. If you haven’t, summer is still hanging on for a bit longer AND not to mention September on PEI is absolutely beautiful. What was on your PEI summer bucket list that you FINALLY got to this year? Our menu is DESIGNED to be eaten one handed.... especially our burgers(except for the return of the mac.... we do not recommend trying to eat that one one-handed ). Free WIFI, cold drinks and yummy food. Come on, we can do this!!... (Burger shown in photo is our mini burger but with raw onions instead of sauteed, my personal favorite)

Kaine's specialty is walking around like he owns the place, asking the kitchen staff for secret snacks, playing with salt and pepper shakers, commandeering the work tablet to play games and just generally livening up the place. P.S Doesn't he just have the cutest smile? P.S.S It's been a while since I have posted actual FOOD pictures. It's been a wild summer.
