The horses are now all safely at the ranch for their winter vacation. It's no small feat, and we want to say a big thanks to our whole team for all their hard work this season.

And that's a wrap, folks! We were hoping to run horseback rides until Sunday, but mother nature had other plans with almost a foot of snow here in Banff.

What I loved most about this whole trip is that we were experiencing Western Canada the way pioneers used to in the 1800s. It’s truly a trip that takes you back in history, through one of the most beautiful areas of the world.

"We had an amazing time. The cowboys were friendly, knowledgable and very experienced. We took the "1-hour Spray River Ride", the scenery was breathtaking. Crossing the river twice and seeing a raging waterfall was the highlight. My horse TomTom was a perfect gentleman. I would highly recommend taking a ride with the Trail Riders. One hour was relaxing but on our next visit we will take the 3 - 4 hour ride and if possible the Sundance Overnight!
