Bar Down Hockey Academy Fall Hockey Prep Camp 2003-2006 Born players ... August 25-28,2014 (Mon-Thurs) 1pm-4:15pm East End Arena Bar Down Hockey Academy is offering a Fall Hockey prep camp for all players born from 2003-2006. This is a half day afternoon camp that offers players a taste of a full day hockey camp at a fraction of the cost. Each day consists of a 1.5hr on ice skills session with our highly trained and certified hockey instructors as well as a 1hr of plyometric dry land with our Hockey Canada Certified instructor Rick Farmer of Advantage off ice Conditioning. that’s 6hrs of on ice and 4hrs of Plyometric dry land. The Focus of the camp will consist of power skating, stick handling, shooting, passing, battle drills, conditioning ect. All with the concept of having your player prepared for their upcoming hockey season. Spring has just arrived and yet it is time to register for fall hockey camps. With hockey try-outs usually commencing the second week of September, Bar Down Hockey Academy is offering 2 additional options for fall hockey training; "East" and "West" camps. These two opportunities will allow your young hockey player to get their skating legs back; break in any new gear, and to gainconditioning, as they are preparing themselves for both try-outs and the rigors of winter hockey.... At the camps, your hockey player will receive instruction in power-skating, individual skill development, shooting / passing, battle drills and game situation play. EAST CAMP Runs from August 25-28 (Monday-Thursday) from 1:00-4:15pm and is held at East End Arena. This camp offers 6 hours of on-ice instruction and 4 hours of off -ice instruction provided by Advantage Off Ice Conditioning. Cost: $165 GST included - August "Main Camp" Attendees have a reduced rate of $150 GST included WEST CAMP Runs from September 1-6 (Monday-Saturday) weekday evenings and Saturday morning and is held at Dutton Arena (St. Johns Ravenscourt). This camp offers 9 hours of on-ice instruction with an extra focus on power skating, and individual skill development.
