Like all puppies, Happy needed to learn to keep her teeth to herself, come when called, and to walk nicely on a leash. While Happy learned many of these things quickly, she struggled with walking nicely because she had LOVED to chew on the leash during walks. It took some persistence, but she did learn to walk, not chew. Here she is sitting nicely after a walk, NOT chewing on the leash. An update on Cash: he has a new sister, Maggie! Cash is a rescue dog from Lebanon, who had showed extreme fear of humans. He has come such a long way on his own, even asking for belly rubs! Maggie is also a rescue (from Turkey) and has really taken to Cash in a big way. Here she is playing with him. Maggie had different issues than Cash, as she is not fearful of new people; however, she did need to learn how to walk nicely on a leash, and to be less hyper in the house, chas...ing the cats all over. Holly is a rescue dog who had showed a lot of fear to new people, and quite a bit of separation anxiety when her humans were not around. I taught her humans how to be the strong leader she needed, and now Holly is starting to feel much safer when new people visit and not get so stressed out when she can't see her humans.
