Helen Garoufalis and I decided to put together a little basket of goodies with the help of Kelly Marie with lkcatering and Jade McLean of Your Life my Lens photography to try to make life a little easier for the holidays after this crazy, different year for hopefully a few families. Match exposition entre nos entraineurs BSL [English below] samedi le 7 sept, BSL a organisé un match entre nos entraineurs au parc Bedard. C’était un évènement très très agréable. Le resultat final a été un très bon moment pour tous. Nous devons remercier et apprécier le temps et les efforts que nos entraineurs motives et leurs assistants ont fourni une fois de plus cette année a tous les joueurs et continuer à les développer et à offrir une autre grande expérience sporti...ve, BRAVO! Friendly exhibition game for our BSL Coaches This past Saturday Sept 7th BSL hosted a game of coaches versus coaches at park Bedard, There were sliders, curves and homerun comments being shared by the players and fans alike for a very enjoyable event. Final score was a great time had by all. We must thank and appreciate all the time and efforts our motivated coaches and their assistants have provided once again this year to all players and to continue to develop them and provide another great sporting experience, BRAVO!

The Monteregie Ouest regular season Champion PeeWee B Red Mustangs were a very well balanced team that went 16-2-2. They were lead by a strong balanced 6 pitcher staff that paced the league with the lowest runs against of only 101, Jordan Bouchard, Danick Grenier, Jonathan Brodeur, Isaac Plante, Braedan Hand and Fen Garzon-Habicon. The pitchers were guided by all-star catcher Logan Belanger who with his strong arm picked off runners all season, Belanger also found his way to... the mound at the end of the season to throw his fastballs by hitters. The offence was lead by Grenier, Hand and Plante with fIne offence contributions by Sebastiano Sekelis, Jack Guilbault, Gabriel Rouleau and Nick Gottardo. On the race track Hand, Plante and Brodeur paced the rest of the the team. St Lazare and area residents will have to be advised when Sekelis, Belanger and Bouchard take to the road in a couple of years. The Sunday driver award goes to Guilbault. See more

Des équipes seront formées dans les catégories Moustique, Peewee et Bantam. La ligue aura une saison régulière de 10 matchs en 5 semaines. Il va débuter mardi le 3 septembre et va terminer dimanche le 6 octobre. Les séries éliminatoires auront lieu la semaine après et va terminer lundi le 14 octobre.... Our Atom B Mustangs stood their ground today with a heavy opponent from the South Shore. Down 7-1 we rally'd back to a 13-11 gap but ran out of time to pull through. Our bats cooled down today unfortunately but these little ball players got handed their 2nd only loss this season. So much to be proud of. All in all we have a super bunch of 8 year old players who now return home to their 9-1 record ready to inflict pain on the Monteregie Ouest Baseball League. Go Grey!

Outaouais-based official Zoë was recently interviewed regarding her experience as a female umpire (or as our good friend Pat the #FlyingUmp would say, "arbitresse"). Lac St. Louis has a growing membership in female umpires, including Daphnée Lalonde-Larocque from St-Lazare who, after several years umpiring softball, transitioned to baseball in 2018 and was recruited to the #PDABQ along with Zoë in 2019.

Performance Development Camp For the upcoming 2019 season, in addition to the Spring Training Program Sundays @ WWjr., Baseball Saint-Lazare offers your child a Performance Development Camp. Camp is open to all Mosquito, Pee-Wee, and Midget age players at both A and B levels. This development camp is only offered to Baseball Saint-Lazare players. The objective of the Performance Development Camp is to offer our players a more advanced training that will use drills to improv...e their offensive and defensive baseball skills. Baseball Saint-Lazare is proud to announce that the camp will be run by Ian Jordan, Technical Director from the Montréal Titans Baseball Club and Director of John Rennie High School and École Secondaire des Sources Sports Concentration Baseball programs. MERITAS 2018 English Below] À la fin de chaque saison estivale de baseball, la région du Lac St-Louis présente un Gala Méritas pour reconnaître leurs membres (plus de 3200 joueurs + entraîneurs + bénévoles en 2018) qui ont contribués et qui ont eu un impact au cours de la saison précédente. Le gala de 2018 a eu lieu le lundi 18 septembre à Dorval, QC. L'événement régional, composé de 16 associations de baseball, comprend un comité varié pour la sélection des finalistes dans d...iverses catégories, désignés par les nombreuses associations de baseball de LSL. Pour la saison 2018, Baseball St-Lazare a connu une très belle performance avec huit finalistes dans presque toutes les catégories! Les catégories vont pour le finaliste Méritas en tant que joueur dans chaque niveau de baseball aux côtés de nos arbitres et marqueurs. The regional event, which is comprised from 16 baseball associations, has a varied committee for selecting finalists in various categories as nominated by the many baseball associations in LSL. For the 2018 baseball season Baseball St-Lazare had a very impressive showing of 8 finalists in almost all categories! The categories range for Meritas finalist as player in each baseball level alongside our umpires and scorekeepers.
