Another Easter Seals Snowarama/Poker Ride has come and gone. What a beautiful day and an amazing turnout. Over 60 riders enjoyed an awesome breakfast put on ...by Marla at the arena and from what I hear a delicious lunch as usual by the ladies of the Wharncliffe Hall. We couldn’t have asked for a better day for the weather. The trails were in great shape thanks to Bud our groomer guy. A more detailed list of our amazing sponsors will be posted soon, but I want to say a huge thank you to them now. Thank you Carolyn and Nilah from Rotary for all you do for Easter Seals. Last but not least, I can’t say enough about our volunteers who have worked so hard over the past few weeks preparing for this event. Pauline and Peyton for the poker ride registration; Les, Cale, Bob, Dave and Kurt for assisting with the parking; June and Gus for assisting in Wharncliffe, Dave and Clayton for selling the raffle tickets; Jennifer for helping at the arena; Marla and Edith for helping with the poker hands; Paula, Nancy, Carolynne, Garnet & Sandy for the cookie donations; David and Judy, Justin, Chris, Garnet, Sandy and Mike for being out at the trail stops; Kurt, Les and Pauline for ensuring no one was left on the trails. And last but most certainly not least the amazing committee members who pulled it all together: David & Judy Hay, Kurt Rankin, Gus & June DiPasquale, Andrea Young, Clayton Jeffery and Chris McMillan, it’s been a pleasure working with all of you again on such a successful event. Thank you See more

SERIOUSLY!!!!!! Groomer just groomed into Bruce Mines, turned around to head back to barn and found that someone just tore up the freshly groomed trail with a f...our wheeler. As if the trees aren’t enough of an issue, someone decides to be disrespectful in this way. These OFSC trails are designated SNOWMOBILE trails, all other vehicles are not permitted. Please respect our riders and stay off the trail with your four wheeler. See more
