With the recent increase in Covid cases Dr.Karkanis and the staff have made the difficult decision to close our doors to the public and to go back to curb side appointments. This was not an easy decision as we love all of our clients and enjoy having you in the rooms as we examine and treat your companions. Going forward, we will be sending out admission questionaires to our scheduled clients, prior to their appointment, to be filled out and emailed back. We ask that going f...orward; Please arrive 15 mins prior to your appointment Call the clinic once you have parked (705 476 8080) and inform the staff what vehicle you are in and the phone # we can reach you at. All animals must be leashed or in a carrier Please wear your mask at all times. A staff member will come to your vehicle to retrieve your animal. The staff member will not reach into your vehicle to retrieve your animal, please safely pass your animal to the staff member. After the examination, the Doctor will return your pet to your car. Other than to exchange leashes or carriers, please maintain a personal distance of 6 feet. Payment for your exam and products must be rendered prior to leaving the clinic. Please inform the staff if you need the debit/credit machine or if you will be sending an E-transfer ([email protected]). With the imminent re-tightening of government restrictions, we will be starting to lock our door again to ensure that we maintain our stringent in-clinic client limit. Wait times at the clinic will be longer than usual, we kindly ask that you come prepared for that wait. If you plan to pick up food/medication from the clinic, we ask that you come in the morning before scheduled appointments start, as to reduce traffic both inside and outside the hospital. Good morning, Friends of the two legged variety! Business is booming here at Bay City, more than booming in fact. We can barely keep up! We’ve made the decision to put a 4-8 weeks pause on taking new clients for routine visits. We will still see dire emergencies, but at this point we fear the quality of our care will be affected if we continue to work over capacity. We appreciate your understanding and support, and will continue working hard for you and your loved ones!

Monday we will be adding a new staff member to our team! Everyone please give a warm welcome to our new groomer, Christina Holden! In case any of you haven’t heard the news, Paige is expecting! Christina will now be your go to gal for all your grooming needs. Paige is due at the end of December and will be staying at the clinic for the next 2-3 months to aid in the transition process.
