Caleb was lucky enough to grow up with two older brothers to serve as role models and mentors -- Now an adult and studying in the Police Foundations program at Georgian College, he realizes the importance of #mentorship and wanted a rewarding way to give back what he experienced in his youth. Adam was looking for mor...e connection and his Mum could see that That’s when she decided to reach out to Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Simcoe. Our agency worked individually and together with Caleb, Adam, & his mom to create a match that met both the needs of the #Mentor & #Mentee . Throughout the pandemic Adam and Caleb had continued to keep connected safely Caleb remembers feeling intimidated at the start, wanting to make sure he was doing his best for Adam, but now feels that even without the program he would want to be #matched with Adam. Adam feels that Caleb has taught them him to be responsible and to come out of his shell !
