The playlist contains 75 songs and can be danced solo or with a partner just kick up your heels and have some fun! ... Start the playlist at 9pm and just before midnight there’s a 15 second pause built into the playlist which signals that Auld Lang Syne is the next song in the playlist. Stop the playlist and wait for midnight and then play Auld Lang Syne whenever you’re ready. Another hour or so of songs will follow ending with a few of my favourite upbeat silly songs. The purpose of our trip is to meet new friends and stay connected with our local dance friends - in a short, virtual social dance party. FORMAT: simple but loads of fun: We play a game called "Call and Response" DJ Carolyn puts on an awesome song, and one person volunteers to be the first caller. The caller grooves for 8 beats while everyone else observes and prepares. The rest of us try to copy their grooving for the next 8 beats. Half way through our dance party we will all take a bus tour of Leeuwarden, The Netherlands as our host will show pics of her fair city. Then back to more fun call and response dancing.
