To our Beach House Family, Friends, and Supporters, These are historic and unprecedented times we are all living in. We hope all of you are staying strong, positive, and healthy as we all live through this strange and unsettling pandemic. We wanted to let you know that we have spent the past months waiting, watching and hoping that we could somehow proceed with our ninth season. We are sad to report that, given the current situation, it will not be possible for us to produce ...our event this August. We must put the health, safety, and well-being of our team, supporters, and audiences first. As our provincial health officer has promoted, we must ‘stand together’ by staying apart, and flatten this curve; but we know we will get to the other side of this challenge. We are confident postponing our 2020 season is the right thing to do for our community and the health of Beach House Theatre. Having said that, we hope all of you will stay safe and let the coming months build up your excitement and your desire to come together again to celebrate our shows for 2021! We are just pushing the pause button and will present the same fabulous scripts, The Servant of Two Masters and Magical Mystery Munsch next summer. We believe that 2021 will be more exciting and rewarding than ever, once we happily reunite after going through this year of social distancing. We are reminded of Friar Laurence’s speech to Romeo where he encourages him to hide, stay safe, lay low When we are back, we will be better than ever. Beach House Theatre is thankful for the love and continued support shown by our community. We look forward to 2021 when our artists, production team, crews and volunteers will return to our Blackie Spit village with the support of our sponsors, donors, community partners, volunteers and audience. Thank-you and see you soon! Sebastien Galina

Dear Beach House Theatre Supporters, BHT has been monitoring the COVID-19 situation across British Columbia, Canada and the rest of the world. It goes without saying that the health and safety of our Surrey / White Rock community remains a top priority. We are monitoring the situation closely and discussing what this evolving situation might mean for our August shows. Although we hope our 2020 season will continue as planned, we will be making a final decision on May 4th on i...f we think summer 2020 shows are possible. This deadline is necessary for us to provide time to plan and make any required accommodations. Thank you in advance for your patience. We understand these are trying times and we encourage you to follow the advice of Province and your local authorities on how to best navigate this situation. Please stay safe and healthy, David Weston President
