Thank you to all my helicopter teams who have gotten me to where I needed to be safely & for your dedication to keeping patients alive during critical times Air ambulances are also often used to transport organs from different provinces! They can actually go a few hours from the hospitals in Ottawa & Toronto into the states to transport an organ

On Saturday August 15th I celebrated my 20th Heart Anniversary. 20 years ago I received my first heart transplant at the age of 2 & 1/2 after 4 heart surgeries & a long wait. I’m grateful to all my medical teams between Sick Kids, CHEO & Perth Hostpital. Without their dedication, hard work and faith I wouldn’t be here today. I’m grateful for all my family and friends who have supported us over the years. I’m grateful to my donor and their family for choosing organ donation that gave me the gift of life for 19 years.
