Introducing Delilah! Delilah is a pot bellied pig, about 10 weeks old, who was found on the side of the road in western Ontario. She has been to the vet for her first vaccinations. This is Thelma, our Eurasian (also known as the European) eagle owl. They are one of the largest owls, with a wing span of up to 2 meters. (6 feet). Their orange eyes are very distinctive! #BearCreekSanctuary #OwlsOfFacebook

Did you know we have a Patagonian cavy? Her name is Ara. (AH-ra) Cavy are large rodents who naturally occur in Argentina. They resemble jackrabbits, and in fact Ara lives with a bunny named Captain!
