David home schooling our sheep!

Very glad to have the farm to keep me busy during this troubled time. Today we had our Icelandic sheep sheared and they will be ready again in the fall for another shearing. My heart remains heavy for the victims of the shooting in our Province as well as the many people who are ill and have passed away from Covid19. Healing prayers to anyone affected by these events.

This doeling finally decided to shed her cashmere. It was worth the wait. Before and after grooming.n

Today's project.

I have been lucky to have found Trish and All Lathered Up Soap Co.in Windsor. Trish purchases Ewes Milk from a neighbouring sheep farm and creates incredible natural soaps with essential oils and other high quality ingredients. I have been purchasing the soaps from Trisha Bourgeois-Lowthers and felting them. In addition I was able to recently find a Mayflower scented goats milk soap. Anyone who has ever smelled a Mayflower will understand why I searched for this scent.
