Everyone knows our lovely landlords @fortprop have this @fortcommon patio going on behind us for anyone to (respectfully) enjoy, right? Or is this still a bit of a hidden gem? It’s been a bit quiet this year, why not come grab lunch and see what it’s all about? - we’re here 12-7 again today, with a couple new item adjustments happening once again. Interested?

Pansotti’s are on the menu this week. They’re kind of the same as we used to do, with some upgrades. Stuffed with wild mushrooms, nettles and cashew chevre. Served on salsa di noci - a Ligurian walnut sauce made with our toasted focaccia, garlic and whatever herbs the farms bring me today. To top this dish off, there’s also pan fried morels, spring shallots, sea asparagus and some field greens deglazed with a dry riesling. Garnished with our fermented cashew parmigiana, poblano olio, kelp furikake and one of my favourite foraged ingredients, wood sorrel. Only making a certain amount of these daily, but they’ll be on the menu all week at least. We’re open at noon today!

Did you know we sell these? Did you know you can buy takeaway alcohol from restaurants now? Have you checked out our prices only to see that we’re literally charging pennies more than we procure them for? The way we figure it, we don’t make these amazing products, only curate them. We just want to share these treasures we discovered with everyone we possibly can. They’re so very very good. These are also the liquids that pair best with our food, and the vineyards, orchards a...nd breweries following the same trains of thought we’ve been riding on for ages. It’s like the plot to an edge of your seat rom-com. We’re more than happy to recommend and cork one of these for you to take with your lunch or dinner around back, to the beach, the park or wherever your big red heart desires. It is thirsty Thursday. Missing a seat at this bar? We’ve missed having you! But we’re taking it slow and adjusting to these new times - in many ways. One of those adjustments is finding the right hours to be open - any suggestions?! For the next 2 weeks we will be open Tuesday to Saturday, 12 until 7. That includes today! Have you earned it? It is Friday... and it might be time to try our first batch cocktail. Our ol’ barkeep Todd, put this in a barrel ages ago and by dog! is it good. So good in fact, the staff and friends of, have been buying it up like crazy. He’s working on his next two at the moment but if you don’t want to miss out on this one - which you really don’t - you might want to come get one this weekend. It is: the Forager’s Negroni and it’s made with Sheringham Kazuki Gin, Campari, Langley’s Old Tom Gin, China-China Amer and Marrow Sweet Vermouth. After the barrel aging it was infused with coffee oils. Again, we’ve been working on getting some more interesting vessels for our Variety Store items, but for now these come in an 8.5 ounce mason and serves two (or one if you’re anything like me). We’ll see you this weekend.

It’s Wednesday again and we’re back at it! Sous Chef/Boulangère Kara has concocted a recipe for a gluten & dairy free potato milk bun, made with her sorghum sourdough culture - and it’s incredible. If anyone is interested in wholesale purchases of these buns - or a loaf of bread made the same way - let us know and it can be ready next day! If you’re coming down for something to eat, check out our General Store for take home options, soon to be in more interesting vessels! Our alcohol prices are also relative to liquor store prices and we’ve curated some exciting stuff - some you’d be hard to find (or not at all) anywhere else. Looking forward to seeing you all this week!

The time has come. We will be reopening today, June 10th. Here’s what you need to know: Take Away only you can order online (link in comments), by phone, or at the door. Please check our menu online prior to ordering to help us streamline we will not have menus available at the restaurant. Our hours to start will be Wednesday-Sunday, 12-7. Sunday’s we will close as we run out.... Our Chef and Bartender have curated a menu focused more than ever on local, organic, sustainable offerings. We hope everyone has spent these past months learning, healing, and growing as we certainly have. Looking forward to seeing all your faces soon! See more
