The long, winding, and unpredictable path that was 2020. With all the best-laid plans and intentions, this year had other ideas. Our year, like everyone else, looked much different than anticipated. 2020 shined a spotlight on the fact that everyone has struggles. Hopefully, it has shown us all how to have empathy, and support each other without hesitation - we were on the receiving end of incredible support from our family, friends, and community. We gained a huge amount of ...perspective on how we demonstrate this love and support to others as well. We have also made it our goal to extend that to local small businesses since we are a part of the entrepreneurial community. Despite all the struggles this year has brought, we have a lot to be thankful for. We learned so much from our son who was, and still is, the human embodiment of strength, courage, and maturity at the age of 6. We are thankful for everyone that helped raise $1,400 for McMaster Children's Hospital Foundation this fall, a cause we will always work to support and highlight. I don’t even know if we have any great insight here. We just thought it was important to point out that this year was really hard, and we all got through it.
