On the morning of Thursday April 2nd, we were asked by Trillium Health Partners to come up with a solution to provide reusable face shields for their front line workers. By that afternoon, in partnership with L3Harris / Wescam Inc., a simple design was created for a reusable face shield to replace the disposable ones currently in use. Ben Machine Products Co. Inc. will have the first 500 of these shields delivered tomorrow and by the end of the week we will ship the second 50...0. In less than 4 days we were able to design and produce 500 reusable face shields for donation to Trillium Health Partners. A total of 1,000 units will be donated within 1 week of the request. We are truly grateful for the partnership with L3Harris WESCAM and all of our employees for coming together and making this possible. A bigger thank you goes to the front line health care workers for putting themselves at risk to keep us all safe and healthy.
