Update on Bentley Community Van Society; Being aware of our requirement for the advertising for our Annual General Meeting, we were scheduling for the end of ...February but due to a number of unforeseen circumstances we have had to reset the date to Wednesday March 18, 7PM. at the Seniors Drop Inn Center. We are now advertising this change as required. We are sorry there has had to be a change of date to accommodate our meeting. When asked to look into the procedure to becoming a member of the Society. We were reminded that long before the current executive were involved the members set up an application form to be filled in expressing the desire to be a new member. When this is received by the board, new members would be presented at the next membership meeting. This Membership information form is also to be updated annually in January by each member to keep our records up to date. To the best of our understanding, there has never been anyone rejected. We are sorry about the delay. We really have a good coordinator, board, a good group of volunteer drivers and membership working to make the Bentley Van a great benefit to our Community. There was a request on Face book for a response and so we are bringing everyone up to date. We will also place the information application form on line. See more
