Great news for independent retailers and for those who cant resist a scroll and click... New Facebook and Instagram shops will allow you to shop directly without leaving the social sites. Retailers will be able to personalise their shop front and all transactions will be able to take place on Facebook/Instagram.... Yes you can currently buy products on Instagram and Facebook, but this promises to enhance the experience and remove a lot of the hassle. In Facebooks own words... We want to give people a place to experience the joy of shopping versus the chore of buying.
