We spent the past two days at @airsidespaces and we didn’t want to leave! Bespoke Lead Designer @camcaptures_ created a holiday design, but made it a little spicy We incorporated real trees from @evergrowchristmastrees, local florals styled by @de.la.flore and endless dried oranges. It smelled so yummy! Anyone else incorporate dried citrus in your holiday decorations this year?

Well, this is exciting! Amongst the craziness of 2020, we’ve had a few blessings in disguise. One of which was a little extra time leading up to summer. We have wanted to launch home staging for years, but never had the capacity to do it until now! We had the chance to stage our first Whistler property in September and we went hard We pulled a 24 hour shift to get it done, collected about 80 allen keys from furniture assembly, and nearly went insane over a missing pillowsham.but dang, it was worth it. The core values at Bespoke have shifted and changed over the years with the exception of one: kindness. That’s always at the top of the list because we figure even if everything is falling apart around us, the least we can do is be kind. And we recently experienced the kindest gesture from our friends @boywithaknife. As most of you know, right before covid, we brought in an entire range of new dinnerware BUT we had to cancel our installation of a commercial dishwasher in the ...unknown of it all. Which meant it was taking us FOREVER to wash dishes in our small dishwasher for every order. That’s when our friends at BWAK stepped up for us. They opened their doors to us and let us use their dishwasher so we weren't drowning in dishes. We’ll never forget it. My friends, if you are looking for catering for your event I can’t recommend these guys enough. Not onlyyyyy do they have a great dishwasher, they can cook too OH, and they are all exceptional humans in every way. PS - we are FINALLY getting a new dishwasher this month!!!!

But a while back, we were setting up at Brockhouse Restaurant and if you’re familiar with Brockhouse, you’ll know they put out these beautifully twisty butters. We hosted an intimate (and distanced) dinner a few weeks back for some of our closest industry friends. We wanted to thank them for their support over the years and reconnect after a really troubling season for the events industry. BUT moments before we opened our doors we had a minor flood from the second floor running downstairs into the warehouse (the warehouse we were about to tour everyone through THIS on top of an already stressful week, an improperly measured menu..., and our vinyl machine giving us a hard time, I couldn’t stop the stress tears from coming! But you know the best part? I had nothing to worry about because the people attending that night were our friends. I didn’t have to pretend everything was okay. I was able to explain we had a lousy day, that the building started leaking and when someone asked me what charger we wanted to use I cried And that’s how I knew that everyone invited that night was for a reason. They have provided friendship beyond professional boundaries. They know our whole team, laugh with us when something goes wrong, and remind us that any charger plate will probably work just fine. It’s about this time of year we would typically be heading out on our annual team getaway! We’re sad to miss it this year, but still want to do something local, safe and fun. Any suggestions? We typically spend a weekend away, and have one day dedicated to a meeting, and one day for spending time together going on walks, hanging out, watching movies, and eating non-stop.
