It’s a beautiful FALL day outside and what better way to take advantage than with an outdoor workout - gotta get them in while you can! This is a little HIIT workout, I wanted to incorporate high knees skipping with burpees, so here we are! You can do it two ways, timed rounds or reps. I did timed rounds of 30 seconds each with 30 seconds of rest after each round and I did 10 ROUNDS! OR:... - high knees skipping x 50 reps - burpees x 10 reps - inchworm to jump squat x 5-8 - rest 2 mins/round x 10 rounds = 20 minutes and you’re done! Hiked in Samuel De Champlain again! I love this park - it's so beautiful and this hike in particular has spectacular views - the Etienne Trail. There are different lengths you can take as well, 2.5, 5, 8.5 or 9km trails which is nice! I've been doing the longest one, which is pretty challenging and takes around 3 hours to complete - but you feel so accomplished afterwards and fulfilled as well - it's a great feeling!! I also included the estimated calories burned because that's an interesting bit of info to take home - where and when else can you crush that many calories and still feel pretty good afterwards, injury free (and low cost)?!? Hi! There are a couple of really important things in this photo - first and foremost - POPPY! How cute is she?! Second - my water ! Water has been such an important part of my life for such a long time. I think I’m lucky b/c growing up we had a well and always drank straight from the tap - we loved our ! So I have a taste for it.
