Update your routers firmware immediately, KRACK is being used world wide, WPA2 is not secure, and using simple software your WIFI can be accessed then lateral moves through out your home or business network can be made. This is NOT a new vulnerability but doing the work I do, I have not in the last 2 years spoken with a person who has done a firmware update. Without it, you are wide open to persistent robotic attacks. At the very least your WIFI could be used by people... to do illegal things online that will only be traced back to YOU !! Imagine yourself in court attempting to explain HWID Spoofers, NMap, KRACK, Wireshark, Packet Sniffers, MAC Spoofers and the like to a judge or prosecutors who barely understand how to turn a computer on let alone war driving and its tangents. SO....Go to your Routers Home Page, not the router admin page but the actual company website for your router and find your router hardware id number listed, download the firmware update AND firmware update instructions and follow them precisely. If you have issues with this, send them an email and let them know your router hardware id and ask for a link for the update or to send it to you. Almost all router websites are aware of this issue now, and have firmware updates for your routers even if your router is 10+ years old. Good luck out there, and keep safe, B.F.I.
