The Poinsettia is known for being the most popular displayed tropical Christmas plant. A fun fact that many do not know is that the poinsettia's main attraction is not its flowers, but its leaves! The flowers of the plant are the yellow clustered buds in the center and the coloured leafy parts are actually the modified leaves that change colour when the flowers bloom.
