Most of all, I express gratitude for 2020 so that I can fully release it and move forward into 2021 with an open heart, mind and energy. Don’t rush into the new year simply to get rid of the last one. Instead recognize everything it was and then remind yourself that you have no obliga...tion to be who you were yesterday. When we speak about loving others, we think of those we obviously, knowingly & easily love. Maybe you think of your children, your friends, your family members... all the ones you KNOW you love. I urge you to expand what love means to you, challenge yourself to extend that love to a stranger today. Or maybe even someone you disagree with or don’t get along with. You don’t need to shout your love for them from a rooftop nor do you need to even talk to them or become BFF. You d...on’t even need to agree with them or like their choices. Just simply imagine your heart opening and love being sent out of it and into that stranger, neighbor, enemy... and affirm it in your mind I send you love, healing & light. It takes nothing away from you, it only enhances the boundaries and limitations that were placed around your heart when we were falsely taught that love is only for those you choose. Love is for everyone in the many different types of love. Love means you accept them as they are, love means you acknowledge their human existence along side yours, love means empathy for those you do not know, love is the realization and recognition that we are all breathing the same air and walking each other home. The beginning of the day is no doubt my favourite part of the day. It always has been- I was that early riser at a sleepover!! I love a fresh start to a day, knowing I have hours ahead of me to be productive. Night time rolls around and I require the conscious effort to stop and unwind. So one definite part of my nighttime routine includes a (coffee-free) latte with one of the amazing @itsblume powders. It helps prepare my body to relax and makes me mindful!
