This week we shipped a replacement twin screw conveyor trough to a paper client in Nova Scotia, and belt conveyors and chutework modules for a bark handling application for a pulp and paper client in Maine.

#tbt to 2004, B.I.D. designed, supplied, and installed a coal handling system in Nova Scotia, 3000 tonnes/hour, for unloading Cape-sized vessels. System included large receiving hopper, belt conveyors, structures, and 500 ft long reversing shuttle conveyor in a 1000 ft long gallery. What can B.I.D. Canada do for you?

The final two (2) loads of belt conveyor modules shipped yesterday, bound for our cement customer in Quebec. These two loads, which were ready early this summer, mark the completion of a project that started in July 2015.

B.I.D. #limestone 72" belt conveyor galleries are installed, while we continue to ship 42", 24", and 36" #conveyor modules.

Marking the 25th anniversary of the Worlds Largest Axe, custom designed and manufactured by B.I.D. Canada Ltd. Fabrication began in 1990 by B.I.D. and the structure was erected in Nackawic, N.B. in May of 1991. The axe is a symbol of the significance of the forest industry to the province of New Brunswick. Dimensions of the axe are 18.28m long and 7m wide - rumour has it, there is a time capsule inside to be opened on the 50th anniversary!

Our team may be small but this enables us to react quickly to changes in our clients schedules and industrial equipment projects. We shipped the following bulk material handling equipment this week: Above is a gallery module for a 72" conveyor. Below, a loading trough module for a 72" conveyor.
