Bide Awhile is low on bleach! We use it daily at the shelter for sterilization purposes. We know bleach is in high-demand these days, but if you have an extra bottle you would be willing to donate to Bide Awhile, we would be so grateful. We love receiving all of your adoption updates. They are a great reminder of why we do the work we do at the shelter. Seeing our furry friends living happy, spoiled lives truly warms our hearts! Here is an update on little miss Mia, who went to her forever home a few weeks ago. "Well, Mia has settled in very nicely to our crazy home of two teens and a preschooler! She loves to run around and jump over things and she also loves getting into small spaces. We play with her of...ten as she loves to play. She is growing every day it seems. She likes her dry food and LOVES wet food. She is a good little kitten and went to her litterbox no problem. Our daughter says Mia is so cute and the laughter out of our girl from playing with Mia is priceless! Our boys were excited to show her off to friends and girlfriends. She is so loved! UPDATE: We have received many inquiries about Shyla and Chloe and are no longer accepting appointments to meet these sweet girls. BONDED SENIOR ADOPTION Shyla and Chloe are looking for their retirement home together. These sweet girls are a Shih Tzu mix and are around 10 (Chloe) and 12 (Shyla) years old. Their love for each other is so sweet, and they can often be found snuggled up together. Because of their strong bond, they will need to be adopted together. Shyla a...nd Chloe are so affectionate and love humans almost as much as they love each other. Shyla and Chloe recently had some major dental work and are on the mend. Because of this, they will require medication for the first little bit of their stay in their new home. The adoption fee for Chloe and Shyla is $400 and includes core vaccinations, spay, deworming, flea treatment and dental work. Another happy adoption at Bide Awhile! Yesterday, Marius came in to meet Elly and it was love at first sight. Typically shy, Elly came right up for some pets. That sealed the deal and Elly headed to her forever home! We love successful adoption stories - especially when it is the perfect match right away. Wishing Elly & Marius a happy furever!
