Local rider Tom van Steenbergen has no shortage of epic projects and accomplishments - we’re proud to have the Slopestyle Centre and the Joker as part of his legacy here in the bike park. The invitational event looked a lot different this year, but the spirit of creating opportunities for the next gen of riders, and local community vibes were as strong as ever.

This year has been an interesting journey. As travel and many competitions were put on hold this summer, local pro riders found themselves taking a pause and spending time closer to home. Thankfully there's no better place to stay local than right here in beautiful British Columbia. Big Big White rider Vaea Verbeeck took time to reflect on this past summer of riding.

2 meets 3... local Cole shreds some Big White laps with Remy!

Fall is here, and while that means the bike park is closed for the season, it's also the time of year where we've been able to work on some pretty amazing projects. Here's taking it back four years ago to the beginning of it all...

The bike park may be closed for the season but there is still plenty of riding to be had on the amazing local Kelowna trails. Our friends at MTBco put in countless volunteer hours to keep the trail system running smoothly for all. To close out the season we sent MTBco Directors Tully and Cam down the mountain with a fresh money bag filled with all the Toonies from this year's race series! Thanks to everyone who came out to race with us Friday nights - we were able to donate almost $500 in support of local Kelowna trails. #mtbco #toonieraces

This year's event was a little different, but what didn't change was the great energy these riders brought to the course. Amazing to see so much local talent!

That's a wrap on this season's Toonie Race Series! Thank you to everyone that came out to race with us. With many race events cancelled we were stoked that we could get out the timing gear and create a fun and competitive way to get some times down on the clock. As the season closes, excuse us as we get a little sentimental. We are so thankful to call British Columbia, and Big White home. The mountains are a unique place where distance and space connects us... to nature and to each other, through our passion for biking. Thank you for riding with us.
