Not all the garlic cloves made the grade for replanting after splitting the bulbs this week, they were either too small or co-joined which meant the clove was missing part of it's protective husk. The larger cloves were sliced and dehydrated and the small one's minced and roasted for use at a later date, with nothing going to waste

Today I picked the last of some sweet and hot peppers from my poly tunnel greenhouse and we made them two ways this time A funky fermented floral hot sauce and an infused spicy vinegar. Both take about 3 weeks to make and they are well worth the wait.
