Oiling a figured maple dining table This dining table is a part of a furniture package that also includes a coffee table and a dining room cabinet. This is the first table we have made with slabs from this salvaged eastern maple tree. The shape of this tree is very irregular, making it perfect for resin cast pieces. Since the slabs were so heavily decayed, we saturated the surface with our coat epoxy prior to sanding and finishing. This hardens the surface making it more suitable for a dining table.

Casting Claro Walnut Burls for a Custom Cabinet We were commissioned to build a custom cabinet that our client purchased as a gift to her husband. The face of the cabinet will feature our premium claro walnut burl and smoky grey resin. Although these pieces are very porous there is no need to seal the edges using our resin. If you de-gas the resin and cool it while it cures you will end up with a bubble free pour.

We designed these custom chairs in solid black walnut as a part of a full house furniture package for a client in Colorado. We're so happy with the way the back slats came out on this chair. We've given them a curve that follows the spine, they're just thin enough so they will flex and not break. We were surprised at how comfortable this chair is!
