St.Vital park is a perfect ceremony space. Last summer we witnessed one of the sweetest DIY set ups by Allison and James’s friends and family. She walked down the flower garden aisle, they were married by their close friend and we did photos around the park.

Our first wedding during the pandemic is now live on our site! Manitoba was under a 50 person gathering limit so Junia and Joel were still able to invite a fair amount of guests. They had a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Ashgrove Acres followed by a quaint outdoor reception where food was served to each guest. Speeches were held at Ashgrove’s outdoor patio space and after that we gathered the bridal party and headed to the Forks. They are a prime example of going with the flow... and putting their love first. . Weddings are STILL HAPPENING in Manitoba! Yup, that’s right; all summer long we’ve been shooting beautiful and amazing weddings! You may not be able to have 300 guests but hey, you still get a ceremony, a reception, a dance party and to MARRY the one you love! That’s what it’s all about, right?!

24 hours ago Mikayla and Carter were seeing each other for the first time wedding ready! These two had a beautiful candlelit ceremony with a tent reception.

SNEAK PEEK! These two were forced to change their wedding date 3 times this year due to covid but yesterday was the day! It ended up as a beautiful church ceremony followed by an amazing backyard reception and an epic dance party! Rachel Reynolds and Aaron Rodier have been friends of ours for many years and we were so happy to celebrate with everyone! Cheers to your new chapter!

Our original date got rained out but it was worth the wait! Last night’s sky was something else for K&M’s Love Story

A couple weeks ago we were invited by @clearlakecountry to enjoy a staycation at Riding Mountain National Park. This is one of our favourite Manitoba getaways so we couldn’t say no! . We stayed at @ridingmountainhouse which is the cutest bed and breakfast and Dawna made us feel very welcome. Located in Onanole it’s only a 5 minute drive to the park itself. A shared kitchen full of delicious breakfast food was waiting for us every morning and in the evenings we were able to r...elax in the screened in porch. . During the days we visited the park beach, the bison lookout, a couple of short hiking trails (venturing with an infant made our outings shorter than usual ) and a bunch of local shops and restaurants. . @poormichaels was our first stop. Full of books and art paired with a cappuccino bar and yummy snacks it’s a must stop for a morning coffee. . The @staylakehouse did not disappoint for lunch. Everything on their menu is top notch. If you haven’t tried their dill pickle soup yet what are you waiting for . . @mainlymanitobaclearlake is full of Manitoba made gifts, decor, souvenirs and really neat stuff. We grabbed a cute lake onesie for Atlas by @northdesignsmb . We heard @trmckoys was the go to restaurant for Italian food. It must be because reservations book up quickly! We were able to order takeout and enjoy the yummiest Italian meal back at our b&b. . Our 3 day stay was just what we needed for a quick mid-wedding season break. While these two read their vows I couldn’t help but focus my attention on this perfectly aligned tree in the distance. We’ve had the privilege of watching this relationship grow for years as these two are very close friends of ours. They are an outdoorsy, adventurous couple who love being near nature so the symbolism in this moment really resonates with us.

When James and Michael told us they only have a handful photos with each other over the 9 years they’ve been together we knew we had to give them some print worthy memories.

2020 is the year of intimate weddings and we love it!

2020 weddings! Some positive feedback from today’s Chamber of Commerce webinar regarding upcoming weddings/events. It is realistic to expect indoor guest counts to raise to 250 by September as long as Manitoba continues to see progress. ... Staff & Vendors are NOT included in your guest count. You do not need to seat individuals 6ft apart but tables should be 6ft apart from each other. Posing groups of people for photos are allowed even if they are from different households. Only close encounters for long prolonged periods of time is advised against. Serving plated food at weddings opposed to a buffet is recommended but not required. Servers/staff are not required to wear masks but is up to vendor discretion. Bars can be walk up but floor markings/spacing is recommended. Dance floor is allowable but guests need to be aware of risks and take caution. Desserts handed out at weddings such as candy, cake or doughnuts do not need to be individually wrapped.

Hey everyone! We’re starting to settle into our new life with the little man and finally getting caught up on sleep and we wanted to say thank you to everyone for following along with us over the years and showing us so much love in the last few months. We had planned to take these past couple months off from work to spend time with our new baby but what we didn’t plan for was a global pandemic which means a slower season in the wedding industry. It means a lot to have such ...a great community and dream couples who have made every effort to keep us as their photographers as they are forced to alter their wedding plans. Josh Reid and Cassandra's wedding is featured in Wedding Bells Magazine! This is the perfect example of an intimate celebration. These two exchanged vows in Birds Hill Park with less than 15 guests. The ceremony included personal touches such as a wooden arch built by Josh and his dad and a welcome sign stained and hand-painted by Cass herself. The gorgeous florals by The Floral Fixx made everything come to life! This non-traditional day also allowed for a ton of photo time and we were able to visit multiple locations. They finished off the evening with an intimate dinner SMITH Restaurant and some night cap photos in upper Fort Garry.
