DEVGRU does it again. US Forces executed a night time raid in Nigeria to rescue an American hostage who was kidnapped from his family farm in neighboring Niger just five days prior. In order to prevent possible sale to extremist groups the rescue had to be actioned quickly. Approximately 30 SEALS jumped in to Northern Nigeria and covered six miles to the target resulting in six of seven enemy KIA and an unharmed hostage rescued. No injuries to the SEALS were reported.
