Welcome to Chef Evis Chirowamhangu from Mnandi Pies joining our team of 10 chefs, cooks, and caterers who will be preparing your multi-course dinner meals. Your support will directly support them and our work at the farm in 2021. Chef Evis Chirowamhangu is the owner and food experimentalist at Mnandi Pies, a company that produces Zimbabwean Style Pies in Toronto. Born and raised in Nyanga, Zimbabwe, Evis moved to Toronto in 2005 where she immediately recognized the lack of ...anything that looked like a Zimbabwean Pie on the Toronto Market. Through a series of food experiments, she finally nailed the Zimbabwean Pie. Evis has been featured on CBC’s Here and Now, CBC Metro Morning, The Pay Chen Show, Toronto Star, Now Magazine and BlogTO and she is on a mission to feed Canadians with unique and authentic foods inspired by the Southern African Cuisine. Join us on December 4th for a one-of-a-kind fundraiser and enjoy your meals right at home! Meals are available for 1, 2 or 4 people. You can also donate a meal to our community if you live outside of the GTA. #FacesofBCCF~~ Joshua Recollet is an Ojibway and Cree Indigenous earth worker born and raised here in Toronto. He has always had a passion for taking care of mother earth and learning about the lands and restoring the knowledge for all to learn and carry on. The Farm Park team cares for the gardens on site that encompasses a variety of annual and perennial vegetables, herbs, berries, fruits and pollinator species, including our Medicine Wheel garden, Three Sisters garden, Children's sensory garden, and more. In addition to the gardens, the Farm Park team maintains the woodland trail that wraps around the property and extends into the Black Creek Ravine. We also host volunteer days and other events to promote community engagement. #BCCFStaff #FacesofBCCF #BCCFarm #FarmPark
