This post written in April came up again this morning morning. Life as we knew it had changed!! My entire being is telling me to respond - so here it is !! When you first read the comparison comments of Afraid vs Not Afraid without a doubt everyone would choose Not Afraid over Afraid ... But what about the person who can not go to work because it was mandated Closed Go to School ? - the stress level of Teachers and Administrative Departments is unbelievable and quite frankly in many cases, not a happy and fantastic learning environment !! Shop at Stores - that’s if there are stores to shop at - Supply and Demand will soon govern who gets to go Shopping - only the wealthy will have choice and many Shops will Close ( including B by B in Carstairs ) because there is no reasonable demand for a Boutique Flower Shop or other specialty Shops ( and the owners can no long subsidies the Shops to serve the Community !! Eat at Restaurants - only for the wealthy!! Worship at Church - so many rules and liability insurance is so expensive!! Travel & Vacation, ballgames, fishing & Hunting - once again only for the wealthy who have time, money and health!! Taking kids to the park - you are blessed if you have children in the first place and some grandparents don’t even get to see their babies because they live to far away. Transportation between places is not so easy anymore and once again only for the wealthy !!! Host and go to parties - that’s if you have friends in your Neighbourhood - and everyone is healthy!! The one thing I do know is - to enjoy life it is a choice but for some life is a blink of an eye and for some life is blessed with many days and for others life of choice is taken away by others !! This my dear Facebook friends is what we should be most afraid of is Choice being taken away by others !! Yesterday, June 8th, 2020 was to be my first time sleeping in my apartment above my Carstairs Floral Design Shop since my move from the rental house in October 2019. But I just couldn’t make the transition ( only two days a week for now ) from my Home / Head Office of Blooms by Bloy In downtown Calgary. With that decision, I missed the opportunity to witness first hand, the Beauty of Mother Earth shown in the video Change is difficult and I have been moving Stuff fo...r four years since the death of my husband, Graeme and I know it’s time to STOP!! Unfortunately, the FEAR of putting down deep roots into a community has always been part of my life. With every move from one location of Alberta to another, I’ve needed to start again and again building relationships and saying goodbye. These Changes have been very difficult and very much a part of my entire life. Yesterday was a huge sign from God that everything is once again going to be All Right and I just need to Do It!!
