Trying something new....working on a lily of the valley piece. Not sure of the final product yet as it’s an evolving piece but I like it so far.

Most of you would never know, but the last couple of years I have had to go through some very personal difficulties that took me away from my passions. Well, finally I’m back in the saddle and ready to meet the next challenge. I’m happily creating once again and in the spirit of spring and the early blooms, namely magnolias, here is my take. In this very uncertain world right now, travel plans are cancelled, schools are closed, city services are essential services only, restaurants and shops are closed, hospitals overwhelmed. Unlike anything we’ve seen before. It is not unsurprising that many brides are worried if their spring/summer weddings will progress as planned or perhaps postponed to a yet to be determined future date. What a frightening and stressful time for everyone! In the wake of the pandemic, non... essential businesses are instructed to close and small businesses are in serious jeopardy of surviving this crisis. Some, but not all can continue to earn a living via online sales. Please continue to support small businesses of all kinds if you can. We are still more than happy to serve you, not only to keep our businesses alive but to provide necessary goods and services to our customers. Thankfully, my shop is my home as we are all staying in and/or working from home now. Inspiration from my garden...

I had asked Cindy to do a custom order of a hair comb, bracelet and hat flowers to go with my mother of the bride outfit. After 60 conversations back and forth she came up with some beautiful items and when they arrived I was over the moon with them. They were exactly what I was looking for. I would like to thank Cindy for her patience working with me on designs and colours. I would highly recommend her work.

This is what 500 petals looks like. I’ve recently completed 1000 for a client. That’s a lot!!
