Many anxious snowmobilers are already contacting the OFSC to ask what today’s Ontario announcement means for snowmobiling. Rest assured that no one wants to kno...w more than we do. But given that the government took 5 days to put their announcement together and that it hasn’t yet updated the supporting regulations, please be patient while we take the required time to assess what if any change may be needed to the message we’ve been delivering since the current shutdown started on Dec 26 - ride locally on available (Yellow or Green) OFSC trails within your public health region while following all public health measures. We’ll post our update as soon as the Province provides more clarity.
Teamwork makes the dream work :) Always refer to the OFSC ITG for trail status: https://ofsc.evtrails.com/#
Stop by Mylar & Loreta's Restaurant for a bite to eat at their Back yard drive thru Located right on our B111 trail in Singhampton!!
Brushing and grooming - fun weekend activities for the whole family :) Our volunteers are always hard at work getting trails ready and keeping them in top shape...it's a 3 season job! Always refer to the OFSC ITG for current trail conditions.
Even with the slower start to winter, our volunteers and groomers continue to work around the clock - literally - to get everything open as soon as we can. It really is a full time job! As always, please continue to STAY OFF closed / unavailable trails. It keeps you and your machine safe, keeps our incredible land owners happy, and helps us get things open as early as we can. Always refer to the OFSC ITG for current trail status :)
Sad news from our friends at BSC. This is why it is so important to stay off closed trails and respect the land our trails run on!
Please share and keep your eyes peeled!
With trails starting to open throughout the province, ours unfortunately still remain CLOSED. There just hasn't been enough cold and snow to get everything ready to go safely and responsibly. We need a solid base and frozen ground to protect our landowners, our groomer operators, and you! Here are just a couple of the many, many reasons we can't safely open yet: Cross your fingers for more cold and snowy weather in the forecast - and thank you as always for staying off closed trails until they're available! It really helps a huge amount
Blue Mountain Snowdrifter Trails are CLOSED. Refer to the OFSC interactive trail guide for updates. Keep wishing for more snow

Nice to have the groomers back out again! The fresh snow really helped, but we still need cold temperatures to help things set up... And so we ask that you please be patient as the trails are still all UNAVAILABLE at this time. We're getting closer every day, and staying off the trails during this critical period will allow us to safely open them as soon as possible! Always refer to the OFSC interactive trail guide for up to date conditions.
Plenty of riders have been asking if Ontario trails will be open this winter and here's the answer just posted on the OFSC website https://www.ofsc.on.ca/category/news-release/
Please note that even with all of the fresh snow, our trails are still CLOSED for the time being. Here are the top 3 things you can do to help get them open sooner: 1. Stay off closed trails! It wastes an incredible amount of our time when we have to chase down trespassers or work with the OPP, when we could be getting things ready. 2. Volunteer :) the more volunteers we have, the quicker we can get things done - and it's a lot of fun too! 3. Do your snow dance...it takes a h...uge amount of snow to build a strong base, and the more snow we get, the quicker we can open. Always refer to the OFSC Interactive Trail Guide for the latest conditions - and if you don't know, don't go.
A very Merry Christmas to everyone - and a special thanks to our landowners and volunteers, who make this all possible. Happy holidays everyone!
