We are a group of individuals who care very much for animals who have no one else to care for them. We make it our mission to give as many animals as we can a s...econd chance at life and at love and we take it very seriously. We have over 60 animals with us and we spend our time trying to give them everything we can; and obviously it is a constant battle to be able to pay for it all. Our mission is based on caring. We care very much for all our animals and work very hard for them. We are very fortunate to have supporters who help us, and have helped us since the beginning, which we do not ever take for granted. We are only able to help as many as we have (hundreds) because of the community that helps us do so. We are grateful and in need of our community, and within that community we also recognize that our animals are not the only ones in need. We know that your neighbour is presently struggling with health issues and not able to pay their bills, we know of the single mom who works 3 jobs to pay for everything her children need is fighting to stay afloat...Everyone falls on hard times; much like our animals have before becoming to us, and we want to be able to not just raise funds to help us feed and home our animals, but we also want to help members of our community who also could use a helping hand. This is our first album featuring "Paws for a Cause". Each album will feature items made by someone in our community who needs a helping hand. When items are purchased, the majority of the cost of the item will go back to the individual (who will always stay anonymous unless specified by the individuals) and a portion of the amount will come back to us to help us continue to help as many animals as we can. It takes a community to raise a balanced and happy pet, they say, and I say, it takes a community to keep a community strong and balanced. These handmade bracelets are made by an individual whose husband has fallen ill, unable to work. With many hospital visits and stays, the couple is finding it almost impossible to keep up with their bills. $10 from each bracelet goes to the family, and $5 from each bracelet will come back to helping our 60+ animals. All bracelets are made with elastic, therefor One Size Fits Most and will make a wonderful gift for someone you care about or for yourself. Each bracelet comes with a "Paws for a Cause" note of thank you. To order your Paws for a Cause item: Place your comment under the photo specifying which item you wish to buy. Once your comment has been acknowledged, you can come the following day to pick up the item.
