Congratulations to Project Amity, one of five winners of the 2020 Accel Labs Pitch Competition! Accel Labs is a community health incubator that provides support to non-profit initiatives able to improve the local community. The mission of Project Amity is to alleviate isolation for seniors in long-term care homes. Many seniors at long-term care homes do not have regular visitations. To combat corresponding loneliness, Project Amity was developed to introduce a digital means t...o ease this isolation. One of the ways their volunteers exchange companionship with seniors in long-term care homes is through exchanging letters. Accel Labs is extremely proud to announce is that Project Amity is the first undergraduate project accepted into the incubator.
