When this boat (1976 Coronet) was designed, it had a short 2' hardtop. The top was rotten so we took it off and redesigned it by raising it 3" and lengthening it 4'. so it ended up being 6' long. All of the before and some of the frame design pictures were lost when my old phone melted one day. ARGH!!!

Here is the finished product of another West Coast Hardtop. As you will see from the photos it is made from hardwood and fiberglassed over the wood. Then we applied 1/4" closed cell foam and then Sunbrella over that. For the headliner we used a white vinyl stapled to the top then we added prestained oak trim.

The new truck came only with low bucket seats. So we bought the frames and foam kit from an aftermarket distributor and upholstered the seats to match the rest of the truck.
