Thank you, Edmonton - for your well wishes and support over the past couple weeks. We are pleased to share St. Albert and Highlands will be open for TAKE-OUT ONLY starting tomorrow at 4pm. We’re going back to our system of the early days of COVID-19, pre-orders starting at 2pm. We still await test results from a few staffers from downtown and 124 Street so stay tuned. ... Dear friends of SABOR & BODEGA We are incredibly sad to report a member of our administrative team has tested positive for COVID-19. The majority of this individual’s time spent in our properties is during the day and confined to office space. We believe there is very little to no risk to guests who joined us for dinner this past week. In response to this news, we’ve temporarily closed SABOR and all BODEGA locations (DT, 124 Street, Highlands and St. Albert) to conduct a deep... clean and sanitization of all properties and to give the entire staff time to get tested. The staff member who tested positive last worked on Wednesday, November 25, felt unwell later in the evening, immediately self isolated and got tested the following morning. They have been self-isolating ever since and we send them best wishes for a speedy recovery. To our knowledge, AHS has not identified any other individuals to be a close contact or at risk. We have notified all team members to inform them of the potential contact they have had with a peer who has tested positive. Any staff members displaying symptoms of COVID-19 have been asked to self-isolate immediately and get tested. This is devastating news to what has already been a difficult time for us and our peers in the hospitality industry. Closures like this one are becoming more common and although we are grateful for the love and support Edmonton continues to send our way - our wish is for everyone to limit contact for the next few weeks, wear masks, wash hands and show kindness and respect. Dear friends, we have made the difficult decision to close BODEGA 124 until September 15 as we've received news one of our staff has tested positive for COVID-1...9. The last shift the employee worked was September 2. They immediately self-isolated upon feeling unwell and are at home recovering. We have been in contact with AHS and are following all recommendations. Although we are not legally mandated to close our doors, we are taking this additional precaution to ensure the restaurant is safe for staff and patrons upon reopening. At this time, all staff at Bodega 124 are being tested and we will only open once negative test results are confirmed. In the meantime, we are conducting a deep clean of the entire restaurant and kitchen with the hope to reopen at 4pm on September 15.
