The unforeseen 2020. Everything that happened this year was not planned. Life changed so fast every month. Thinking back on the year it shocks me how much has happened in a world where we all stay at home now and the days fly by without seemingly doing anything. Through it all I’ve never been more thankful for all that I have in my life. I’m grateful 2020 has allowed me to feel this. Thankful for my husband, @niramoss. In joyous, tragic, or ordinary moments in life, we’re uni...ted. I love our love. Very thankful to also be back at work after three months without & that I have the confidence to be myself. @shantelle_louise_photography

Prepping for winter solstice by hanging out under my weighted blanket that I got as an early Christmas present. @niramoss . . I don’t know a lot about astrology, but I pick up bits and pieces every year. I also read that crazy dreams can be due to solstice energy at this time, which certainly has been happening to me.... . . Winter as a season is characterized as yin within yin, the most yin affiliated season, and associated with the kidneys and water element. Ideally ones internal world offers a person solace, comfort, and relief. A place to come back to that restores our vitality. . . The external environment were all experiencing right now is intense. Plenty of yang! Plenty of sources that would exhaust us if not deliberate about creating boundaries around. So this solstice please take note of how you’re feeling, then take that to a reflective place and learn more about yourself and what you need. I know 2020 isn’t what any of us expected. However, I’ve had a few once in a lifetime experiences this year that have been chart topping. This picture is one of them. I have admired Sabrina since I was 18. She was the first instructor I had in my life who gave me content and material I could sink my teeth into and explore tirelessly. @niramoss and I found Winter yesterday while driving on the Icefields Parkway in between Jasper and Banff. Still so beautiful to be in the mountains with all the fall colours and brand new snow.

We’re married Yesterday was such a special day. Completely surreal. I got to marry the man that has changed my life for the better in every possible way. Spending forever with you won’t be long enough. @niramoss
