Bomac Improvements

Lately we have been pretty quiet on social media, but not on the job site! Bomac has some catching up to do!

When this home's basement was developed, they left the bathroom unfinished. Bomac came in years later and finished it. An added challenge here, was finding exact matches to the rest of the house for things like: the color and style of the vanity, the pattern and shade of both the floor and shower tile, and matching the square faucet and shower head.

Stairs can be dangerous, especially when couples get older. Bomac did a substantial upgrade on an outdoor set of stairs; providing solid, consistent steps, and a handrail that will provide a sense of security for years to come. This is built extremely solid using 6x6 solid timber, GRK Fasteners , and Shercom Industries Inc signature rubber tile.

Last week Bomac built this rock solid deck. This one has Regal Aluminum Railing, adjustable deck blocks, pressure treated decking and framing, as well as a privacy wall. The deck blocks are on well compacted soil to reduce settling; a higher risk in new developments. The client chose to place 2" rock beneath the deck to keep weeds down.

This home had recurring water stains; cause unknown. Bomac was hired to investigate and rectify the problem. Insulation was improperly installed, causing condensation to build up due to lack of ventilation. Removing the existing insulation, cleaning the affected area, and replacing it with sprayfoam solved the problem. The drywall was replaced and the entire room had the ceiling refinished and textured. Here is a basement we took from concrete walls to a completely finished space. This basement now has -R20 insulation, -Suspended sound deadening ceilings, ... -2 bedrooms, -Insulated bedroom walls to reduce noise, -A full bathroom, -A storage room, -A mechanical room, -And a dedicated media wall- Pre-wired for 5.1 surround sound. This garage belongs to a new home in Brighton. As with many new builds, this home had an unfinished garage. Bomac fixed that! A level 3 drywall finish was provided after insulating, installing vapor barrier and boarding. All thats left is for the homeowner to paint!

Transformation Tuesday! This front closet received 2 live edge slabs, extra hooks, and a fair amount of drywall work. Everybody was pretty excited when I finished this one up today!
