Never trust these types of calls, always be cautious and confirm the caller’s identity before you give information. I received an automated call yesterday, telling me I was risking jail for tax fraud. They wanted me to press 1 to keep myself out of trouble. Obviously this is a scam, the automated call did not call me by name or in any way identify me as the intended recipient. The caller was just fishing for an unsuspecting person to answer.
Some sunshine from a client, thank you so much! I’m feeling appreciated
Not bookkeeping, but this is great for cleaning work clothes and well as regular laundry :)

Normally, April 30 marks the end of personal tax season. It signifies the completion of a busy time, a period that leaves little time for anything else, and brings more people through the door than the whole rest of the year combined. This year is very different. The deadline is extended to June 1, the rush has been slowed. People aren’t coming through the door, but thankfully they are coming through email! As we continue to navigate the unusual circumstances this year, I’m thankful for all who stand by me this tax season. Bring on another month!
