Last may I was working on a charter out of Bermuda exploring the Atlantic gyre and studying the effects of plastics in our oceans. Working on assignment for BC Magazine I was privileged to be able to photograph a Potlatch in Alert Bay hosted by Beau Dick a well known carver who had since passed away.
