Sometimes it’s less about how fast you get there, and more important to just know where you’re going. It can be discouraging when things don’t change overnight. You work so hard yet you aren’t seeing the results. The clients. The customers. The followers. The money. I feel you sister. If you know what you want to achieve, and you work consistently to get there, I promise you’ll start to see progress. It may not be tomorrow, but it will come. ... The most successful people are the ones that never gave up, even when times felt tough. Send this to someone who may need the reminder, or comment below if you’ve felt this too. Remember, you’re not alone in this and we’re cheering you on. See more

What are your favourite ways to consume content? Are you looking to learn something new during Quarantine? Here are some of my favourite ways to learn new things online (hint: I’ve never been a traditional hard copy book reader): Podcasts! These are great because you can do them while multi-tasking, they are free and usually shorter in length so you can consume various different topics. ... Audiobooks! I personally love @audible_ca , @hoopladigital or Libby to listen to Audiobooks. Did you know that most libraries offer free memberships to Hoopla + Libby? Check out your local library for more details. YouTube! There are so many great tutorials and educationalvideos on YouTube. Just search some topics that you’re interested in and see what you find. When you find a video that you like, take a look at the rest of the channel’s videos, as they probably have other content you’d be interested in too! Online workshops/courses! There are tons of free online courses being offered right now through various universities in the United States + elsewhere. You can also sign up for things like SkillShare which have loads of different video workshops. What is your favourite way to learn new things online? Struggling with sticking to a morning routine? Here are some ideas to help get your brain + body ready for a productive day: Try and move your body - whether you go for a quick walk, do a yoga class or simply stretch while you roll out of bed, it will feel so good on your body. Drink some water - we wake up super dehydrated so drinking a glass of water before your 4 cups of coffee will do your body so much good! I like taking my vitamins in the morning so it forces me... to drink water first thing. Try to avoid your screen until you are in work mode! It can be tempting to check your email or social media but try enjoying the time without it. See if it helps reduce some of that stress/anxiety we feel consuming things all the time! Clean up your workspace - I like starting each day with a fresh, clean desk so I try and tidy it at the beginning and end of each day. Also, make your bed! It feels so nice to crawl into a made bed and helps reduce stress if you spend time in your bedroom throughout the day. Set some goals - setting goals helps you to stay focused on the things that really matter and it feels so good to check something off your list! What other tips would you add to start your day on the best note possible? Comment them below! See more

It’s #InternationalWomensDay and there’s a lot that I want to say but if you take anything away from today, please remember: Your voice can change the world. When we started the Bossy Women podcast in our dorm room in university I had no idea the impact it would have on my life and so many others. Starting a platform that is entirely based on supporting other women has given me so much inspiration and courage in return. It’s introduced me to amazing women that I now call f...riends. I’ve also been told that it’s encouraged someone to take leap in their business, or connected them with someone that changed their life. Like WHAT?! I always knew that when women support women incredible things happen but I love getting to see that happen each and every day in this community. Thank you for your courage, kindness, love and everything in between. We are all bossy women and our voice matters. Tag your ladies below and show them some love today XOXO See more
