Ballet was a large part of my youth. I danced for many years and was even asked to commit full time towards a professional path at 13. It was an honor to be recognized at such a young age. Even today, dance remains in my life in one form or another, although fouéttes are completely out of the question - I’d probably break a hip! Dedication, discipline, grace, attention to detail, and work ethic. These are the invaluable lessons of ballet that I still draw on today.
