Canine Enrichment is part of the daily life at the dogs at the Dog Ranch. Little Max is finding kibble and treats in a ball pit which is hard work. Seeking and finding is an instinctual behaviour that has many positive benefits. Dogs that are given the opportunity to seek and find with their noses are found to be calmer and have better confidence navigating the world. Using a ball pit like this one Max is being desensitized to things touching him, rumbling sounds all while working on his balance at the same time. Max found every single treat! The Dog Ranch now offers Enriched Boarding in addition to Classic Boarding and Board & Train programs.
