Att clients , As of now we are still open but not allowed to have people inside we have to take the dogs at the door . Payment methods will be visa or MasterCard over the phone or cash sorry no debit . Also All dogs must be picked up on time . We cannot keep dogs for long periods in the shop as we have to limit the number of dogs inside . Thanks for understanding have a great and safe long weekend!

So what have I’ve been up to since covid to pass the time ??!! I’ve adopted 2 wild turkeys yes.... turkeys lol . They Are rescues from a sanctuary in Nova Scotia their mom is at hope for wildlife. A very nice trucker got them across the border to us . here I thought I’d be chasing them at my neighbours houses but they’re becoming more like dogs than turkeys they have become extremely tamed want in the house which I do let them in on occasion they are always at my patio door wanting treats ... they followed me around the yard like puppies come when called and when it’s bedtime they follow me to their pen . Their names are Cider and Pip their mom is Grace . And no we definitely won’t be eating them they are pets .

Good morning everybody! Just an update to let you know we will be opening soon but not too soon . We still feel it is unsafe for our clients and ourselves at the moment . We need to prioritize the safety and health of our clients and staff rather then business because business Is useless if people get sick . Please please be patient we will be grooming your dogs soon . at the moment we just want to make sure there are no new cases of COVID-19 around and are waiting to see if any new cases arise in the next couple weeks. As of yet, Brenda’s has no dates for reopening but please know you are all missed! (A little excerpt shared by another salon) What can CLIENTS do to help salons navigate a new 'normal' you ask? PLEASE READ...... Know you were missed terribly and your groomer is grateful for your return.... Know safety measures were created for all involved. Know your groomer’s cannot physically work 16 hour days 7 days a week, rest is essential for all.. Know your initial services will take more time. Know that coming in sick IS NOT an option Know that rescheduling all of clients will take time...(this part is super stressful for me) Know that when you arrive things will be different, you may need to wait in your car, or place your dog in a secure enclosure for your groomer to retrieve. Know that your groomer is thrilled to see you but doesn't want or need a hug, your presence is the best hug ever. Know that your health and mine is the biggest concern. Know that your groomer may choose to open at a later date than allowed, being respectful of that decision takes an unimaginable load off his/her brain and heart. Know your groomer has already lost thousands of and has no desire to replace it with a ventilator for either of you, be patient. Know that if your health is already high risk, you need to wait, your health is more important.. Know that a 'soft opening ' will be anything but soft. Know that your opinion of the entire situation won't change laws and rules necessary for everyone's safety Know that while trying to connect with your groomer there are hundreds of others attempting the same thing, responses will be slow coming as your groomer is preparing everything and answering everyone simultaneously your pets grooming will reflect the condition of their coat..please take the time to assess your own pet knowing the condition prior to your appointment, we groom for the animal and not for the owner .....sadly a lot of Pets are going to be taken extremely short please prepare yourself for this or start brushing regularly! Remember we are Pet beauticians not magician we can’t wave a wand and make the Mat’s go away... if you can’t go over them and can’t go around them and you can’t go through them .....we have to go under them leaving a short shave. Know, above all else, no one is more excited about your arrival than your groomer - help make it the best appointment ever!!! Together we can make this work safely for all. Thank you for understanding. I ammiate all your patience and look forward to seeing all your dogs again!

We most likely won’t be back for May so this class will begin as soon as we are able to return ... it will still be the 4 months duration for the class the end date will just be pushed back . Just a reminder that we are temporarily closed until further notice due to the state of emergency covid-19 . there are still a lot of people calling leaving messages for grooming All groomers are mandatory closed until further notice. ! Also we have put our phones on temporary disconnect yesterday only during covid 19. We will turn our phones back on as soon as we get the ok to reopen . ... Hope everyone stays safe and well ! The more people practice physical distancing the sooner we can get back to work ! The best thing you can do for your dogs right now is daily brushing . This will help them not get so tangled up . The best brush you can use for this is a slicker brush which you can pick up at any pet supply store which are still open . Stay safe and brush your dogs !! Hope to see everyone soon ! We are still open for this week.. going day by day . We are taking every precaution we can as far as cleaning and sanitizing everything we can to keep everybody safe . We will keep you posted as to what’s going to happen in the near future . We are no longer taking walk ins for nails for the time being until this is over . Please call ahead to make an appointment.
